Environmental Health & Safety Courses Moving to New System

As part of a collaboration to combine required training under a single secure portal, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) courses are moving to the Saba training system. The course links on the EHS website will soon pass trainees to the MSU NetID login portal.  Users can access topics from Asbestos to Water Protection by logging in with their MSU NetID and password. Register for NIH Clinical Research Course

Michigan State University joins the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a remote site for the online course, Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (IPPCR).  Course Description: IPPCR is a five-month course (Oct. 14, 2014-Mar. 9, 2015) on how to effectively conduct clinical research. MSU's Authorship Guidelines Updated

MSU's Research Integrity Committee has released new general guidelines on authorship of scholarly and creative works for public distribution. However, most journals or websites for publications state criteria for authorship, and the journal/group to which one intends to submit work should take precedence over the MSU criteria. New! Export Control Worksheet System

Research Facilitation & Dissemination has introduced an online version of the “Export Control and Open Research Review” and “Export Control Worksheet for MSU-Sponsored Visa Applications” worksheets. The new system will replace the paper versions of the forms and allow them to be routed electronically, including electronic notifications to approvers that there are items awaiting their review. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act - Guide Now Available

The Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice has released A Resource Guide to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
